It's a well-known fact that everyone and their mother loves pizza. Ok, so perhaps it's not a fact, but you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who opposes the deliciousness that is cheese, bread, and tomato sauce combined together.
Throw in your toppings of choice and you're really in for a treat. Pizza lovers, rejoice. We've stumbled upon a new way for you to enjoy your favorite meal. It's not deep dish or thin crust - it's casserole!

Easy pizza casserole

Ingredients
1 can premade biscuit dough, cut into pieces
1 jar (15 ounce) of your favorite pizza or marinara sauce
1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
1 package (8 ounces or 226 gr) of sliced pepperoni
2 cups (180 gr) shredded mozzarella cheese
12 large basil leaves, whole or roughly chopped
1/2 cup (45 gr) Parmesan cheese, grated
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 375 °F (190 °C) and lightly grease a 8" x 8" casserole pan.

Add the biscuits dough pieces to the casserole.

2. Add the tomato sauce, spreading it evenly over the biscuits pieces and saving 1/2 cup for later.

Place the pepperoni evenly on top.

Then add tomato slices.

Sprinkle the leftover tomato sauce.

Add the basil leaves.

3. Add the mozzarella cheese.

Top with the Parmesan cheese.

4. Bake your casserole for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Pro tip: Customize your pizza! Add black pitted olives or jalapeños to your pepperoni pizza or try a Hawaiian pizza casserole using chopped ham and canned pineapple.

Pro tip: For a garlicky touch in your biscuits crust, mix 3 tablespoons of olive oil with two teaspoons of garlic powder and 1 teaspoon of oregano. Place the biscuits in a freezer bag and add the olive oil and garlic mixture. Shake it and proceed to step 1!
