When it comes to dinner, cooking the main course and sides can be enough of a task in and of itself, let alone actually coming up with the menu. So while it may be easy to just throw everything in the slow cooker and serve up a stew, it's nice to have separate courses to enjoy.
In this awesome recipe from CookingAndCrafting, you can make a full dinner with two luscious sides all in your slow cooker. The best part is that they cook separately and it's not just some stew or soup!

For this recipe, you'll need:
-About six chicken breasts
-A generous drizzle of barbecue sauce (whichever kind you prefer)
-3 small potatoes
-A bit of chopped onion
-Salt & pepper
-A handful of shredded cheddar cheese
-A drizzle of olive oil
-6 to 8 corn cobettes
-Aluminum foil
Being by placing your chicken thighs (you can use breasts if you'd prefer) along the bottom of the slow cooker. Then drizzle on your preferred barbecue sauce over the chicken. Don't put too much, but just enough to make sure each piece has a little bit of sauce.
Then combine your potatoes, onion, salt, pepper, olive oil and cheese together before wrapping it in a foil pouch (see the video below to get CookingAndCrafting's technique). Then place the potatoes directly on top of the chicken.
Then wrap each corn cobette individually in foil and lay those around the potatoes and cover the slow cooker. Lastly, cook the entire dinner for about seven to eight hours on low.
When it's done, enjoy your full dinner!
