This charming Victorian home is the muse 0f Vanessa Pleasants,  co-founder of the "Vintage Whites Market". Built in 1900, this humble abode is located in the city of Kalispell, Montana.  While it may not be situated among acres of rolling farmland, it certainly has that farmhouse appeal.  A few of its many charms include painted wood floors, vintage lighting and great architectural bones. As you venture from room to room you gain a great sense of Vanessa's original design style.
She has even managed to commingle that pared down feel with the youthful design of her children's rooms. The entire home includes a careful collection of vintage finds and new purchases offset by crisp, white walls and that "Big Sky" Montana feel. This home is sure to be a favorite of antique-lovers and farmhouse fanatics alike.
The black paint application in this transitory space makes you want to sit down and stay a while.
This vintage kitchen is filled with white and natural wood tones that make the space feel light and bright.
A long, skinny dining table is ideal for a rectangular room.  It can also accommodate more people than your traditional dining table.
A cozy nook, with a stool as a side table, makes that morning coffee so much more enjoyable.
The theme of soft neutrals continues into the living room with white upholstery and pastel accent pillows.
This hand-me-down piano gets a fresh outlook with an application of white chalk paint.
Simplicity reigns in this sparse master bedroom with unadorned walls and well-worn side tables.
This sweet iron bed is adorned with a variety of floral textiles.  Perfect for a little girl's room.
A black and white color scheme, in this little boy's room, allows the room to easily transition as he grows older.
These painted wood floors offer an element of drama to this functional space.
