Ingredients
1 (12-ounce) bottle hot pepper sauce (such as Frank's RedHot®)
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 (4-pound) frozen chicken wing sections, thawed
And another 1/2 cup butter1 (12-ounce) and a bottle of hot pepper sauce.
Getting Started
1. Combine 1 bottle hot pepper sauce, 1/2 cup butter, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, onion powder, and garlic powder in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce the heat down to low and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Place your chicken wings in the slow cooker and pour sauce mixture over wings.Cook on High for 2 hours. Then, reduce the heat down to low and cook for another 2 hours.
3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C), grease up a few baking sheets, and spread your wings onto them. Cook in the oven for about 30 minutes, or until they're nice and crispy.
4. Finally, melt a 1/2 cup butter with 1 bottle hot sauce in a small saucepan and simmer until thickened, which is about 20 minutes. Brush sauce onto wings just before serving, and you're done.
We suggest serving your wings with a fresh, crisp salad. Chop up some romaine lettuce and add some celery, tomatoes, onion, and carrot shreds - and top it all off with some creamy blue cheese. The crisp freshness of the salad, and that amazing dressing will cut all the spiciness of the wings.
