Beef and ketchup in a slow cooker will make a delicious meal you have to try

Both easy and delicious, this recipe is for the BBQ lover. It's as easy as making a simple BBQ sauce, placing your beef in the slow cooker and then waiting. After 8 hours of cooking, you'll have a tender, juicy and delicious beef dish that is perfect for an everyday dinner or the big game!
If you don't have enough time to make the BBQ sauce, go ahead and use any store-bought brand. You won't be disappointed!

2 pounds beef chuck roast
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1½ cups ketchup
½ cup dark molasses
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Frank's RedHot sauce
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
2 teaspoons cumin
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
Season beef chuck roast with salt and pepper.
To make BBQ sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine ketchup, Frank's RedHot sauce, molasses, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, cumin, onion powder and garlic powder. Mix well.
Place beef into a 6-quart slow cooker.
Pour BBQ sauce into slow cooker over beef.
Cook on low heat for 8 hours, or until very tender.
Shred beef. Serve with cooking liquid as is or in a sandwich, burrito or taco!
Pro tip: It's really up to you what kind of hot sauce you use. Try a habanero hot sauce to make it extra spicy or a chipotle hot sauce to get that smoky flavor!
