Cooktop Cove
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes
Serves: 12
Ingredients
For the sliders:
24 sweet Hawaiian rolls, cut in half
24 thin slices Swiss cheese
1 1/4 pound thinly sliced deli ham
24 dill pickle slices
For the topping:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
Directions
1. Grease a 9x13 casserole dish and preheat your oven to 375˚ Fahrenheit. Place the bottom part of the Hawaiian rolls in the casserole.
2. Whisk all the ingredients for the topping together. Set aside a 1/4 cup, and then evenly spread the remaining onto the rolls in the pan.
3. Layer the ham, Swiss cheese, and pickles. Then top with the other halves of the rolls.
4. Using a brush, coat the tops of the rolls with the 1/4 cup of topping you set aside. Then, cover with foil.
5. Bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 5-10 minutes, until the cheese has completely melted and the tops are browned and toasted.
Pro tip: You can experiment with other types of meat. For instance, try Pastrami for a twist!
