If you've ever taken a cruise or been in a restaurant where a flaming dessert was being served, you may have wondered how you could make something like that at home. Now you can with the bananas foster recipe below!
Traditionally, bananas foster is made on the stove, finished with a splash of liqueur (often dark rum), and set ablaze. While flaming liqueurs add a dramatic flair and a rich, alcohol-free flavor, you might want to try the simplified version below instead. Your slow cooker offers a great way to make this classic dish without standing over a hot stove, too. So, let's get cooking!
