Nothing says home cooking like blueberry cobbler, and the smell of one simmering away in your slow cooker will have you racing for home.  That glorious combination of golden biscuit and sweet, fruity, filling is an absolute winner, and perfect to serve up on a cold day to warm the body and the heart!
This recipe works brilliantly with other pie fillings, so if peach or apple is your favorite, then use that instead of blueberry.

Ingredients:
2 x 8 oz tubes refrigerated biscuits/ready made savory/scone dough, each piece quartered
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, melted
21 oz can blueberry pie filling
Instructions:
1.  Spritz your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray and layer one-half of the quartered biscuits on the bottom of the pot.
2.  In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter until combined then spoon half of the butter mixture over the biscuits.
3.  Pour half of the pie filling over the butter mixture in the slow cooker and top with the remaining biscuits; before adding the second half of the butter mixture, and finally the remaining pie filling, before cooking on high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, until the biscuits are golden.
Serve up in bowls with a scoop of the best ice cream you can find and a large spoon!  Alternatively, try eating with a dusting of vanilla sugar and whipped cream.  We definitely won't suggest serving your blueberry cobbler with one spoonful of ice cream and one of whipped cream at the same time.  No, we absolutely won't be trying that ourselves later.
