Slow Cooker Meatballs
Ingredients
2 pounds ground beef
1 cup plain breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon dry thyme
1 teaspoon dry sage
1 teaspoon dry oregano
½ cup parmesan, powdered
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 eggs
2 24-oz. jars marinara
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1½ teaspoons salt
Pepper to taste
Directions
1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except marinara and tomato paste. Mix well. Shape mixture into 2" meatballs (make giant meatballs if you like, whatever your preference! Just be sure to increase cook time, 1 hour for every inch added in size).
2. In a 6-quart slow cooker, whisk together marinara and tomato paste. Add in meatballs.
3. Cook on high for 4 hours.
