There are some dishes that you just know the little ones are going to love! That is definitely the case with this child-friendly recipe for cheesy Tater Tot and green bean casserole. This yummy dish is packed with tender ground beef, cream of chicken soup, crispy Tater Tots and fresh green beans, all topped with a sprinkling of shredded cheddar cheese for a wholesome meal built to delight the whole family.
This casserole calls for the ground beef to be cooked directly in the oven prior to assembling. This is a great hack if you have the extra time to spare and want to cut back on an additional step and extra pan to clean up. If you want, though, you can brown your beef first before adding it to the dish (see our tip below for details). This recipe is creamy, meaty, crispy and cheesy, all of our favorite qualities packed into one brilliantly simple casserole, perfect for any weekday meal!

Pro tip: Shave some time off this recipe by first browning your beef in a skillet along with the garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper before jumping directly to step 2 (be sure to have your oven preheated and ready to go!).
