Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes

2 pounds lean ground beef
2 onions, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
4 tablespoons chicken stock
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup ketchup
3/4 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Quickly brown the ground beef and onions over a medium heat on the stove, and then drain.
Pour into the bottom of the slow cooker, and add all other ingredients on top. Stir well with a wooden spoon and cook on low for 5 hours.
Pro Tip: Serve these classic sandwiches on hamburger buns, or try an elevated sloppy joe by serving it up on crusty sourdough bread with a side of fresh potato salad for the perfect weekday lunch!
