1.5 cups (355 ml) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup (250 ml) quality dark chocolate
1/2 cup (125 ml) quality milk chocolate
2 cups (500 ml) almonds
Place all ingredients into a 6-quart slow cooker. Set to low, place lid on, and cook for 1 hour without disturbing it.
Mix everything in the slow cooker very well. Let cook for another hour, this time stirring every 15 minutes.
Place a piece of parchment paper over a work surface or baking sheet. Slowly pour the chocolate/nut mixture over the parchment paper. Even out the surface.
Let the chocolate and nut mixture cool completely. The chocolate will harden and set.
Lift the parchment paper up and then drop gently so that the chocolate breaks up into pieces.
