Low-carb cloud bread
Cooktop Cove
3 eggs, separated into yolks and whites
3 tablespoons cream cheese
1/4 teaspoon baking powder (or cream of tartar)
1 packet low-calorie sweetener
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a mixing bowl, mix egg yolks, sweetener and cream cheese together.
3. Separately, in another bowl, beat the whites and baking powder together with an electric mixer until the egg whites form stiff peaks.
4. Gently fold the yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites.
5. Spoon the loosely folded mixture into rounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until lightly browned. Keep an eye on the bread, as it tends to burn easily.
7. After cooling on a rack, the bread is ready to eat.
Pro tip: For a chewier texture, refrigerate your cloud bread after it cools on the rack.
