Homemade pancakes

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder
2 eggs
¼ cup melted butter (I used salted butter)
1 ¾ cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon olive oil (optional)
½ cup chocolate chips

Directions
1. In a medium bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
2. In a separate bowl, combine all the wet ingredients with a whisk.
3. Once combined, stir wet mixture into the flour mixture.
4. Allow it sit for about 5-10 minutes while heating the griddle.
5. Pour about ½ cup of the batter into circles onto the griddle pan and place chocolate chips onto the pancake.
6. Flip the pancake once small bubbles start to form, and cook until brown.
