Salsa verde chicken casserole

6 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
2 4.5-ounce cans chopped green chilies
2 16-ounce jars salsa verde
2 cups sour cream
12 6-inch corn tortillas
6 cups shredded pepper jack cheese
3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken, green chilies, 1 jar salsa verde and 1 cup sour cream.
Arrange 4 to 6 tortillas on bottom of a casserole dish. Tear tortillas into large pieces to fit evenly into dish if needed. Spread one-third of chicken mixture over tortillas. Top with one-third jar of salsa verde and 2 cups of pepper jack cheese. Repeat three times.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 10 minutes, or until cheese turns golden brown.
Garnish with 1 cup of sour cream and cilantro.
