Slow Cooker Steak Dinner

Ingredients
2 pounds top sirloin steaks, ¾ inch thick
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 medium onion, large diced
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup beef broth
2 sprigs fresh thyme
1 large sweet potato, peeled, cut into quarters
4 ears of corn, cleaned, each cut in half
2 tablespoons finely chopped parsely
Directions
1. Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, onion, butter, beef broth and thyme to a 6-quart slow cooker.
2. Season steak with salt and pepper. Add to slow cooker.
3. Place potatoes and corn on top of beef.
4. Cover and cook on high for 5 hours, or on low for 8 hours.

5. Serve all together, using the cooking liquid as a sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Pro tip: Sear each steak in a hot pan with oil until brown on both sides before placing in the slow cooker. Add a cup of steak sauce to the sauce in the slow cooker to get an extra kick of flavor.
