In the recipe below, we take the beloved pizza and cook in a casserole. The best part? Just 3 ingredients! Sometimes we want that same pizza goodness without going through the hassle of trying to make it at home. By putting everything in the casserole, there's no need to worry about a pizza stone in the oven or thinking of a clever way of getting the pizza out of your oven without using one of those large pizza spatulas.
We go with ready made pizza dough and use it to line a greased casserole dish. Next, comes the pizza sauce, and then shredded mozzarella. You can add mushrooms, onions, pepperoni, or whatever you like! You can even top it off with more cheese. Bake it in in a hot oven, and in 20 minutes you have the perfect casserole pizza ready to serve.
