How to make cauliflower bolognese in a slow cooker

Print this recipe
Bolognese made with cauliflower! Yes and it's super simple and just as tasty. We've used cauliflower as rice and even pizza crust, it's just that incredibly versatile. The texture is great and it hold the sauce the way any ground meat would do.
We start off by cutting the cauliflower into small pieces that resemble ground beef. That's then mixed in with garlic, onions, tomato paste, tomato sauce and Italian spices. Mix well and let the slow cooker do it's magic. You can cook this on high for 3 hours or on low for 6 hours. Once the sauce has cooked we mix in fresh basil. Then you can serve it with spaghetti or your favorite pasta topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese.
