How to make sloppy Joe Tater Tot casserole

Sloppy Joes are a big favorite around dinnertime, but let's face it, they're sloppy. And as such, they can leave a big mess around (and on and under) the dinner table. On nights when I just don't want to deal with the mess, I make the recipe below. It fits into a bowl, is eaten with a fork and includes all the delicious goodness of sloppy Joes. Easy on the slop.
Topping the dish with Tater Tots is one of the funnest ways to finish it off, and they nicely take the place of the buns. Of course, you could fill this casserole with all the veggies you want, but this basic recipe fits the bill when all you need is a quick supper.

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup frozen corn
1 24-ounce can sloppy Joe sauce
4 tablespoons cream cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
2 cups frozen Tater Tots
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large skillet, brown ground beef for about 8 minutes and season with the salt. Add the corn, sloppy Joe sauce and cream cheese; stir to incorporate all ingredients. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Pour the beef mixture into the bottom of a 9-by-13-inch casserole dish; top with 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese. Place the Tater Tots on top in a single layer. Sprinkle with remaining cup of mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 20 minutes, until the casserole is bubbling and the cheese is melted.
