Glass-top stoves offer a few significant advantages over other types of stove tops. One of the best things about having this type of stove is that you don't have to worry about drop pans and removable burners. As an added bonus, the smooth top stoves look sleek and can really add pop to a modern kitchen design.
While this type of stove is known for being slightly easier to clean, the ceramic tops are a little more sensitive to cleaning solutions than cheaper stoves. If you want to get your glass stovetop clean without ruining the surface, try one of these tricks:

1. Baking soda and vinegar
There's a reason this combination is popular among organic DIYers: it works. Let your stove top cool and then wiping it down with a vinegar-dampened cloth. Then cover the entire glass surface with baking soda. Soak a large towel in hot water and place it over the powdered surface. Let it set for about 15 minutes before using the wet towel to scrub the stove top clean.

5. Remove black stains with silicone and baking soda
If you accidentally left your burner on too long and have a big black stain, you can get rid of it with this simple trick. Rub a silicone spatula over the stain in small circular motions to fade the stain color. Next, make a paste of baking soda and water and cover the stain with the paste. Let this paste dry for at least 30 minutes and wipe away. If the stain hasn't vanished completely, make a paste with baking soda and vinegar and let it set for a minute or two before washing it away.
6. Choose your cleaning cloth carefully
You should use a soft cleaning pad like a sponge or cloth instead of scratch pads to avoid scratching the glass surface of your stove.

7. Put 'em all together now
After wiping all loose particles off the top of your glass top stove, cover the burners with baking soda, then spray the baking soda with vinegar. Let the combo fuzz for fifteen minutes before wiping away the mess. You can then use a razor blade to remove any remaining buildup. Repeat as necessary.
