Chances are your refrigerator doesn't really have enough room for all the food you want to keep in there. Some people solve this problem by keeping a mini-fridge (or a full-sized one) in the garage, but not everyone can afford that.
Instead of sacrificing food to save space, try organizing your fridge in a new way. Using just one of these hacks will free up precious inches that you can use for other food. Imagine how much you could fit in there if you tried all 10 hacks!

1. Space-saving drink dispenser
Drinks take up a lot of space in your refrigerator, whether they're in bottles, cans, jugs or glasses. Instead of stacking them on top of each other, buy a few drink dispensers. They can hold the contents of several bottles or cans without taking up precious inches of space.
2. Magnetic containers
Have you ever really looked at the interior walls of your fridge and realized how much unused space is there? Instead of wasting the space, add some magnets to the bottoms of Tupperware containers, fill the containers with items that need to be refrigerated, and stick them to the walls.
3. Binder clips
Don't stack bagged food and leftovers -- hang them. Just attach a few binder clips to the wire shelves in your fridge and hang the bags from them. This will free up space on top of the shelves.
4. Freezer bins
Most freezer sections are significantly smaller than the refrigerated compartments they're attached to. For some reason, though, most people tend to just toss things into the freezer, letting them pile up in a way that wastes space and makes items difficult to find. With a few multipurpose bins, however, you can organize your freezer by grouping together related food items.

5. Snack station
You also can stack multipurpose bins in the main part of your refrigerator and fill them with healthy snacks for your kids. Now you won't have to worry about fixing everyone a personalized snack. When they get home from school, they can just open the fridge, grab a quick snack and head off to do homework.

6. Labeled shelves
If you're constantly searching through your fridge for the ketchup because someone didn't put it back in the right spot, consider sticking labels on your shelves. This works especially well for shelves on the inside of your refrigerator doors. No more excuses for misplaced fridge items!

7. Expiration organization
Expiration dates are important. Make sure you don't end up with a fridge full of expired food by putting items on the shelf in chronological order (with the closest date to the front). This also helps you know when you need to throw something out.
8. Fruit baskets
Most refrigerators have drawers for fruits and vegetables, but they can get crowded. And if you just throw everything in the drawer together, you're going to end up with bruised fruit and smashed veggies. Put a few small baskets (or bowls, if they fit better) in the fruit and vegetable drawers and fill them. This will keep each item separate and prevent damaged goods.

9. Lazy Susan
You probably have a lazy Susan in one of your cabinets. Put one in the fridge, too, to store bottles, jars and other containers together so they're easy to find and grab but don't take up too much space on the shelf.

10. Egg carton storage
In most refrigerators, the shelves inside the door are dedicated to condiments. These containers make storing anything else on those shelves difficult. To make it easier to use squirt bottles, cut off the tops of a few egg cartons and store the condiment bottles upside down in the cups of the cartons.
