Hamburger Sausage Broccoli

1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground sausage
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 yellow onion, small diced
4 cloves of garlic, minced
12 oz broccoli florets
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup of water
1/2 cup of heavy cream
1 tablespoons of flour
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella
Salt and pepper to taste
Put a large pan on high heat, add in oil.
When oil is hot add in onions and garlic, sauté for 2-3 minutes until onions are tender.
Add in ground beef, sausage, salt, and pepper, cook for 7-10 minutes until cooked through.
Add in thyme, mix well.
Drain any excess oil.
Add in broccoli, water and cover with lid.
Allow broccoli to steam for 3-5 minutes until tender
Once the broccoli is steamed, add in softened cream cheese.
Gently mix until thoroughly incorporated.
In a small bowl mix the heavy cream and flour, until there are no lumps.
Add in the heavy cream/flour mixture to the broccoli/cheese mix.
Turn off the heat.
Add in parmesan cheese and gently mix until everything comes together.
Transfer mixture into a casserole dish.
Top with mozzarella cheese.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
