Southern Slow Cooker Louisiana Ribs

3 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (divided)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 rack pork baby back ribs, trimmed of silverskin, cut into 4-rib portions
1 cup store-bought barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1/2 cup water
Combine the Cajun seasoning (2 tbsp) and the brown sugar. Spread over both sides of the rib portions and place in the slow cooker.
Combine the barbecue sauce and the Cajun seasoning (2 tbsp), and divide into two portions. Spread half over the ribs in the slow cooker, and add the water.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Just before serving, heat the remaining portion of barbecue sauce in a saucepan. Serve alongside the ribs.
