If you're the kind of person who likes to eat dessert for breakfast (I mean, most people are, right?), waffles are the perfect solution. And they're delicious topped with fresh fruit and clouds of sweetened whipped cream. The recipe below includes fresh, sweet strawberries both in the waffles and on top.
Serve them hot from the waffle iron with a cup of strong coffee and you’ve got a true breakfast of champions—champions of lazy weekend mornings, that is. The kids are sure to love this breakfast, too, just maybe substitute a glass of milk for the coffee.
