Chicken cordon bleu has been revamped so many times, it's hard to believe there are any more dishes that could include some form of it. However, the recipe that follows shows just how many spins this classic can have put on it. It's not only fitting for an entire meal, but it's also a new spin on that traditional stuffing often served during the holidays.
It's really easy, too. Pieces of chicken are simply laid in the bottom of a casserole dish before being topped with ham, Swiss cheese, and a creamy sauce. Prepared stuffing takes over for the breadcrumbs one would traditionally find in a casserole and the entire thing bakes together in the oven. So hearty and delicious, and just one more way anyone can enjoy delicious chicken cordon bleu.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Stuffing Casserole

4 cups chicken thighs, cut into 1" cubes
8 slices deli ham, roughly chopped
1 1/2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
1 10-ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup fresh parsley, roughly chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 6-ounce box prepared stuffing
1/2 cup butter, melted
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9" x 13" casserole dish.
Place the cubed chicken on the bottom of the dish. Top with ham and sprinkle Swiss cheese evenly over ham.
In a small bowl combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, parsley, salt, and pepper. Pour this evenly over the Swiss cheese.
In a large bowl combine the stuffing mix and the butter. Evenly distribute the stuffing over top of the contents in the casserole dish.
Place into the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until stuffing is golden brown and crisp and the entire casserole is bubbling throughout.
