S’mores aren’t just for campfires anymore. With the recipe below, you can make them any time, just about anywhere. There’s no need to split logs or wait for a fire to catch. You don’t even need to collect marshmallow sticks.
This is a set-it-and-forget it dessert with all the flavors of campfire s’mores in a gooey, chocolatey dip. To make it even more special, you can make the dip in a 2-quart ramekin or baking dish that fits inside your slow cooker, and then top it with a layer of marshmallows, and heat it under the broiler for a couple of minutes to get the marshmallows melty and toasty brown just before serving.

Ingredients
One (12-ounce) bag semisweet chocolate chips
One (10-ounce) bag marshmallows
½ cup heavy (whipping) cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
One box graham crackers, for serving
Directions
1. In a 1 ½ or 2-quart baking dish that fits inside the pot of your slow cooker, combine the chocolate chips, marshmallows, cream, vanilla, and salt.
