30 minutes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 pound ground beef
1 15-ounce can diced tomatoes
1 12-ounce box jumbo pasta shells
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1/8 cup French's mustard
8 ounces Velveeta cheese
salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Heat the olive oil in a pan over high heat, and add the onion and a pinch of salt. Sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned on all sides, then add the tomatoes and stir to combine.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta shells about one minute less than the package directions indicate, or until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Remove the beef from the heat and stir in the Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and mustard. Spread a thin layer of the sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 inch casserole dish, and then add the cheese and mix well to combine.
Fill the pasta shells with the beef mixture and arrange close together in the prepared casserole dish. Bake for 15 minutes, or until bubbly and brown.
