Lay cheese over chicken for a tasty bake that comes together in moments

Print this recipe
The recipe below delivers the gooey, cheesy, comforting baked chicken of your dreams with barely any effort at all. Chicken breasts first get smothered in seasoned sour cream and two kinds of cheese before spending an hour in the oven, where a rich, creamy sauce comes together. Rice, pasta or potatoes make the perfect side to soak up all of that heavenly flavor.
You can easily change up the cheese according to your preference: Cheddar, jack, or even American cheese could all work in this dish to add a slightly different flavor profile. You can even use the same method to smother pork chops for a slightly different — but no less delicious — version of this dish.

Preheat the oven to 375 F.
Combine the sour cream, ½ cup of the Parmesan, cornstarch, mustard, garlic powder and pepper in a bowl.
