There are few things better than having leftover baked ham in the house. This savory meat makes great sandwiches and soups, and it’s also perfect for a quick snack. But once you try this recipe, you’re going to want to save your leftover ham for it. You might even start cooking ham just so you can make these turnovers the next day.
A delicious mix of chunks of tender, salty ham, creamy mayonnaise, and Swiss cheese becomes the filling for crescent roll turnovers. They take minutes to put together, but their flavor is simply amazing. Do yourself a favor and give this recipe a try the next time you’ve got leftover ham in the fridge.

20 minutes
2 cups diced ham
1 ½ cups shredded Swiss cheese
½ cup mayonnaise
Pinch dried dill weed
Pinch kosher salt
1 can crescent refrigerated crescent roll dough
Preheat the oven to 350º Fahrenheit.
In a medium bowl, combine the ham, cheese, mayonnaise, dill weed, and salt and stir to mix well.
I like to add a pinch of dill and salt, you could add a pinch of thyme too.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles, keeping the matching triangles together.
Lay 4 of the dough triangles on a baking sheet. Spoon ½ cup of the ham mixture onto each of the 4 triangles. Place the matching triangles of dough on top and pinch the edges together to seal them tightly.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the tops of the turnovers are golden brown.
Serve hot.
