Rice Krispies treats are a classic snack, but with the recipe below, they become a fantastic Easter treat. Melt down marshmallow Peeps to form multicolored layers of Rice Krispies goodness. These colorful treats can even be decorated with sprinkles to make them even more festive.
While some Peeps are simply colored, others are actually flavored with lime, orange, peppermint, chocolate, and more. They are a bit harder to find, but when you do, they're an extra-special treat. This recipe works great with the standard Peeps, but if you stumble upon some of these special edition flavors, feel free to add them into the mix.
