I don't know about you, but for me there's nothing better than a juicy slice of flavorful bacon. This recipe takes bacon to an entirely new level, though, and I couldn't be happier about it.
The recipe starts by placing the pork pieces side by side on a baking sheet. From there, the process gets more and more mouthwatering. It's called candied bacon, and when you see the end result, you'll have to keep yourself from drooling.

Candied bacon can be used in a number of ways. Some of which include candied bacon s'mores and cupcakes, in addition to using the tempting snack as a garnish for desserts and breakfast foods.
This recipe would be great to try out for parties because almost everyone loves bacon.
Ingredients
1 pound bacon
¼ cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons maple syrup
ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Place the bacon on a rack placed over an aluminum-foil covered baking sheet.

3. Mix rice vinegar, maple syrup, and black pepper in a small bowl.
4. Brush with syrup mixture and sprinkle with about half the brown sugar.

Bake for about 15 minutes.

5. Carefully flip the bacon over and coat the other side with syrup mixture and brown sugar.

6. Remove from the oven. Serve hot!

Pro Tip: If you prefer your candied bacon spicy, sprinkle the end result with a little bit of ancho chile powder.
