Pistachio cookies
Ingredients:
2½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2½ cups coarsely chopped pistachios
2 cups green M&Ms
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a large bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Gradually stir in flour mixture. Mix in pistachios and M&Ms.

4. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven, until golden. Let stand on cookie sheets for 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool.
