Smothered Chicken with Creamed Spinach Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
8 ounces of cream cheese
1 packet of Italian salad dressing mix
8 ounces of sliced mushrooms
8 ounces of fresh spinach
1 onion, sliced
1-2 cups of shredded cheese of choice
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In skillet with oil, cook onions until caramelized. Add mushrooms until browned. Set aside.
