Orange Cream Cheese Loaf
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda

- 2 tablespoons orange zest
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup orange juice
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a bread loaf pan.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and orange zest.
3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and orange juice.
4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy.
6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Top with the cream cheese mixture and spread evenly. Top with the remaining batter and spread evenly.
7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
