This recipe is a twist on two classic dishes: pierogies and lasagna. Pierogies are a traditional Eastern European dish made of unleavened dough filled with potatoes, cheese, and other savory ingredients. Lasagna is an Italian dish made of layers of pasta, cheese, and a variety of other ingredients. Combining these two dishes into one creates a delicious and unique meal that is sure to please everyone in the family.
I first tried this recipe when I was visiting my cousin in Poland. She had made it for a family gathering and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved the combination of the pierogies and lasagna, and the flavors blended together perfectly. It was so delicious that I had to get the recipe and make it for my own family.
