Recipe: Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients:
6 large bell peppers, tops removed
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 box of Spanish-flavored Rice-a-Roni (6 7/8 ounce)
1 can tomato sauce (16 ounces)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 can diced tomatoes (14 1/2 ounce)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or American cheese
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 box of Spanish-flavored Rice-a-Roni (6 7/8 ounce)
1 can tomato sauce (16 ounces)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 can diced tomatoes (14 1/2 ounce)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or American cheese
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Wash the green peppers, cut off the tops, and remove the seeds and membranes.
3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
4. Prepare the Spanish-flavored Rice-a-Roni according to the package instructions.
5. Stir in the tomato sauce, sugar, and canned diced tomatoes with their juice into the cooked Rice-a-Roni.
6. Add the cooked ground beef and onion mixture to the skillet. Mix everything together.
7. Stuff each green pepper with the filling mixture and place them upright in a baking dish.
