Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole Recipe:
Ingredients:
1.5 pounds of sliced kielbasa or smoked sausage
Two 15-ounce cans of green beans, well-drained
2 pounds of baby creamer potatoes, cleansed and halved
1 cup of chopped onions
1/8 cup of vegetable oil
1/4 cup of butter
3 cloves of minced garlic
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of pepper
Optional: 1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama seasoning
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F and grease 9x13 casserole dish.
2. Wash and halve creamer potatoes. Place in a gallon-sized sealable bag. Add oil, Slap Ya Mama seasoning, garlic powder, pepper, and red pepper flakes to the bag. Seal and shake to coat.
3. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil. Add sausage slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside. Cool and add to bag.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add onions and garlic, sauté until soft and fragrant. Cool and then add to bag.
5. Follow with adding green beans to bag.
6. Transfer bag mixture to casserole dish. Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
