Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef
⅓ cup of bread crumbs
2 teaspoons of ketchup
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon of mustard
½ teaspoon of garlic powder

2 cups of beef broth
1 onion
1 teaspoon of oil
4 tablespoons of flour
1 teaspoon of ketchup
½ teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
1. Caramelize onions if desired: Thinly slice and cook in 1 tsp oil until browned. This step takes 8 mins or so.
2. Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.
3. Form 3-4 patties with an indentation in the middle.
4. Cook patties in a pan with 1 tsp oil until they reach 165°F (15-20 mins).
5. Whisk 4 tbsp flour with 1 cup beef broth.
6. Remove patties, leave a few tablespoons of liquid in the pan, and cool slightly.
7. Add 1 cup beef broth, bring to a light boil, and slowly add flour-broth mixture. Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and salt to taste. Whisk until thickened.
8. If using, add caramelized onions to the gravy and mix.
9. Return patties to the gravy, simmer for a few minutes.
