Variations & Tips
For a bit of a zesty kick, consider adding chopped jalapeños or a dash of chili powder to the beef mixture. If you're in the mood for a different protein, this recipe can also work wonderfully with ground turkey or pulled pork. For a healthier twist, try using whole wheat biscuits and a BBQ sauce with reduced sugar. Don't hesitate to customize the cheeses; a mix of cheddar and Monterey Jack can offer a lovely depth of flavor.
