Baked Jalapeño Popper Sausage Crescents are the perfect blend of spicy, cheesy, and savory flavors, all wrapped up in a warm, flaky crescent roll. Inspired by the classic jalapeño popper but made even heartier with the addition of sausage, this dish is perfect for game day, potlucks, or just a fun family snack. If you want something that’s quick to prepare and incredibly delicious, this one's for you!
These poppers pair beautifully with a crisp side salad or some roasted veggies to balance out the richness. You can also serve them with dipping sauces like ranch or a tangy barbecue sauce for an extra burst of flavor. If you're hosting a get-together, try serving them alongside other appetizers like chips and guac, mini sliders, or a cheese platter to create a delightful spread.

Baked Jalapeño Popper Sausage Crescents
Servings: 8
Ingredients
8 jalapeño peppers, halved and seeded
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup cooked and crumbled sausage
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled sausage, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
Fill each jalapeño half with a generous amount of the cheese and sausage mixture.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
Place a filled jalapeño half at the wide end of each triangle and roll up, pressing the edges to seal as best as you can.
Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and the filling is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped cilantro if desired.

Variations & Tips
If you like even more heat, you can leave some of the jalapeño seeds in the peppers. For added flavor, try mixing in some cooked, crumbled bacon with the sausage, or substitute the sausage entirely with bacon. You can also use different cheeses like pepper jack for an extra kick or Monterey Jack for a milder taste. Feel free to experiment with the crescent rolls by adding a sprinkle of smoked paprika or Italian seasoning before baking for an extra flavor boost.
