Variations & Tips
For a sweeter flavor, add a half cup of apple juice to the cooking liquid. If you prefer a spicier kick, increase the cayenne pepper or add a teaspoon of chili powder. For a smoky twist, try adding a few drops of liquid smoke to the mix. If you have picky eaters, serve the pulled pork plain and let everyone add their own favorite sauces and toppings.
