Seared Salmon Bites with Creamy Garlic Sauce
Servings: 4
Ingredients
1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Season the salmon cubes with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the salmon cubes to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Add the lemon juice and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
Return the salmon bites to the skillet and gently toss to coat them in the sauce.

Variations & Tips
For a dairy-free version, you can substitute the heavy cream with coconut milk. If your family enjoys a bit of spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic sauce. For a more herbaceous flavor, try adding some fresh dill or chives along with the parsley. To make this dish more appealing to kids, consider serving the salmon bites on skewers for a fun presentation.
