This Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage, and Broccoli dish is a delightful blend of sweet and savory flavors that brings a touch of the coast to our Midwestern kitchens. It's a quick and easy meal that's perfect for busy weeknights when you want to serve something nutritious and delicious. The honey garlic sauce adds a lovely glaze to the shrimp and sausage, while the broccoli provides a fresh, crunchy contrast. It's a family favorite in our home, and I love how it brings everyone together around the table.
This dish pairs wonderfully with a side of steamed jasmine rice or quinoa, which soaks up the flavorful sauce beautifully. For a lighter option, you could serve it over a bed of mixed greens. A simple side salad with a tangy vinaigrette would also complement the sweetness of the honey garlic sauce perfectly.

Variations & Tips
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the honey garlic sauce. If you have picky eaters, you can substitute the broccoli with their favorite vegetables, such as bell peppers or snap peas. For a gluten-free version, use tamari instead of soy sauce. You can also swap the smoked sausage for chicken sausage if you prefer.
