Cooktop Cove: How to make slow cooker Hawaiian sticky chicken
By Cate Misczuk
This sticky chicken lives up to its name with the creation of its own sweet jam-like-sauce that will leave you licking your lips for every last morsel. After 4 hours in the slow cooker with all that broth, pineapple, and garlic - this chicken is going to totally fall apart. Best yet, you're going to eat it right on top of some piping hot, sticky rice that will soak up all those drippings.
Prep takes just minutes according to the food blog Recipe Girl, and it's actually a pretty quick recipe for the slow cooker. If you need to let it sit for the day while you about, you can also crank down the heat to low and let it simmer all day long for 6-8 hours. We also suggest fitting some fresh veggies into this meal by steaming some up to serve on the side.
