This cooking method prevents the meat from drying out and overcooking at the edges, keeping all the juice and flavors inside. 2 pounds ground turkey
2 large eggs
1 onion, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
¾ cup panko bread crumbs
1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
In a large mixing bowl, combine the turkey, eggs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Form the meat mixture into a loaf shape in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. Remove from the slow cooker and let stand for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
