Slow Cooker Peach Vanilla Butter Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 8 ripe peaches
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 whole vanilla beans
Instructions:
1. Peel, pit, and slice 8 large peaches. Place them in a 6-quart slow cooker.
2. Split 2 vanilla beans, scrape out seeds, and add seeds and pods to the slow cooker.
3. Stir in 1/4 cup granulated sugar.
4. Cook covered on low for 4 hours. Remove vanilla pods.
Blend peaches until smooth, then return to slow cooker with lid slightly propped open.
Cook on low for 1-2 more hours, stirring occasionally.
Transfer to jars, refrigerate for 2 months, freeze for 6 months, or hot water bath for 20 minutes.
