Ingredients:
1 pound of lean ground beef
1/4 pound of breakfast sausage
30 ounces of pinto beans, undrained
2 cups of diced yellow onions
15 ounces tomato sauce
2 beef bouillon cubes
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon of chili powder
3/4 teaspoon of ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon of sugar
1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon of oregano
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, brown the lean ground beef and breakfast sausage over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add the diced onions to the pot and sauté until they become translucent, usually about 5 minutes.
3. Stir in the undrained pinto beans, tomato sauce, beef bouillon cubes, and all the seasonings (salt, chili powder, ground cumin, black pepper, sugar, garlic powder, and oregano).
