Cooktop Cove: My hubby can't resist but grabbing a few of these once they come out of the oven!

Sheet Pan Italian Sliders on Hawaiian rolls are a game-changer for busy weeknights or casual gatherings. I first stumbled upon this idea when I was juggling deadlines and needed something quick, yet satisfying, for dinner. The sweet and fluffy Hawaiian rolls perfectly complement the savory Italian flavors, making every bite a delightful experience. Whether you're hosting friends for a game night or looking for a quick meal after a long day at work, these sliders are sure to impress without demanding too much time or effort.
These sliders pair wonderfully with a crisp Caesar salad or some roasted veggies. If you're making them for a gathering, consider setting out a platter of fresh fruit and a bowl of chips. They also go well with a simple pasta salad, which you can prep ahead and chill in the fridge. Don't forget some sparkling water or your favorite wine to make the meal feel extra special!
Sheet Pan Italian Sliders
Servings: 12 sliders
Ingredients
12-pack of Hawaiian rolls
1/2 pound deli-sliced ham
1/2 pound deli-sliced salami
1/2 pound deli-sliced provolone cheese
1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil leaves (optional)
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Carefully slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally so you have a top and bottom slab. Place the bottom slab on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper.
3. Layer the ham, salami, and provolone cheese evenly over the bottom slab of rolls.
4. Scatter the roasted red peppers over the cheese layer, and then add fresh basil leaves if using.
5. Place the top slab of rolls over the layered fillings.
6. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and grated Parmesan cheese.
7. Using a brush or spoon, spread the olive oil mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
8. Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the tops are golden and crispy.
9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing into individual sliders. Serve warm.
Variations & Tips
Feel free to mix up the meats and cheeses according to your preferences or what you have on hand. Turkey and Swiss cheese make a great combo, or try adding pepperoni for an extra kick. For a veggie version, load up on grilled zucchini, mushrooms, and spinach in place of the meats. If you'd like a spicier kick, sprinkle some crushed red pepper flakes into the olive oil mixture before brushing it on the rolls.
