White Chocolate Candy Cane Martini
Servings: 2
Ingredients
2 ounces white chocolate liqueur
1 ounce vanilla vodka
1 ounce peppermint schnapps
1 ounce heavy cream
Crushed candy canes for rimming the glass
Ice cubes
Whipped cream for topping (optional)
Whole candy cane for garnish (optional)
Directions
Begin by rimming your martini glasses with crushed candy canes. To do this, lightly wet the rim of each glass with water or a little bit of the white chocolate liqueur, then dip the rim into a plate of crushed candy canes until well-coated.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the white chocolate liqueur, vanilla vodka, peppermint schnapps, and heavy cream.
Add a handful of ice cubes to the shaker, then secure the lid and shake vigorously until the mixture is well-chilled and frothy.
Strain the mixture into the prepared martini glasses.
If desired, top each martini with a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with a whole candy cane for an extra festive touch.
Variations & Tips
For a non-alcoholic version, replace the liqueurs with white chocolate syrup and peppermint syrup, and use a splash of vanilla extract instead of vodka. You can also try using almond milk or coconut milk instead of heavy cream for a lighter version. For those who prefer a stronger mint flavor, add an extra splash of peppermint schnapps. If you have picky eaters or guests who aren't fond of peppermint, you can substitute the peppermint schnapps with a hazelnut or caramel liqueur for a different twist.
