Look no further, because I have the perfect recipe for you: Sausage and Gravy Pizza with Bisquick Crust. Recipe: Sausage and Gravy Pizza with Bisquick Crust
Ingredients:
1/2 pound ground pork sausage
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup very hot water
3/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
1 1/2 cups shredded cheese of choice (e.g., mozzarella, cheddar, or a blend)
Salt and pepper to taste
4 eggs (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Line round pizza pan with parchment paper.
2. Cook sausage until browned; set aside.
3. Mix Bisquick and hot water to form a dough.
4. Roll out dough into a circular shape. Set aside in pizza pan.
5. Make the gravy by melting butter, stirring in flour, then gradually adding milk. Add back cooked sausage. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Spread sausage gravy mixture on dough. (If using eggs, can top scrambled eggs ontop this.) Top with shredded cheese.
7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
